Baby Lime

I have oficially made it through the first trimester- yay! (well, some books say that each trimester is actually 13 weeks instead of 12...which makes sense when you count it all out, but I like 12 better...so I'm going with that!) My babycenter email informed us that our little one is the size of a lime this week- a little over 2 inches long. That's starting to get pretty serious! No more grapes and kumquats for us. Our next appointment isn't until October 8th, which is way too far away. I get so anxious about going in. I wish I could have an appointment every week.

Bad day for the birds...

Yay for having Labor Day off! I needed that 3 day weekend to be a bum and catch up on some beauty sleep. :)

Travis had a VERY successful Labor Day/opening day for dove hunting season. He started off the morning early with my grandpa at the Macey farm and ended the day out at the Pitt's house. Here are some pictures from the cleaning process...wouldn't you know that Chandler would all of the sudden want ME to hold her while she was holding on to a dead dove for dear life! EWW! She would not give it up. She wanted to take it home and sleep with it. Finally the poor bird "flew to the moon" and was never seen again...thanks Lee!!
