CHARLI BUG

The 9 month wait to meet Miss Charlotte Elizabeth Williams is finally over!!!! She made her big debut into the world on February 9th, and she is perfectly BEAUTIFUL!!!

After waiting ALL DAY and then waiting some more, we finally got to meet this precious angel and hug her mommy's neck. We're so proud of you Ashley!!

I couldn't wait to get my hands on her!!

My auntie Lisa gave Travis some of this stuff for Christmas, and we've almost emptied the bottle. They sell the Stonewall Kitchen line of stuff at the Strawberry Patch in Salado. Seriously I'm addicted to this spicy, sweet BBQ sauce and I think that if you want a special treat, you should go get some too!!

I love blogs!

I don't know why I love them so much!!! I love reading friends blogs, I love reading inspirational blogs, I love reading recipe blogs, I love reading great idea blogs, and I love keeping up with my blog.

One of my favorite blogs to keep up with is Dreaming Big Dreams. I started keeping up with this blog a year ago after the earthquake in Haiti. This family was in the final stages of bringing home their adopted son when the earthquake happened, and once I started reading it, I couldn't stop! Jamie is a hilarious and inspirational christian mommy.

Her post today was too touching not to share. She shares a post from another blog that she has been keeping up with about a father loosing his daughter to cancer. WOW! Our small group just ended a study about being content in all situations, trusting God, and using those situations to glorify him. Please read the excerpt from his blog that she posted. Amazing!!

SUPER BOWL PARTY!!!

This year we "watched" the Super Bowl at the Smith's house with our fabulous small group. We had a blast and ate a ton of food...as usual. Colby was excited to play with all of his friends, and since he was entertained, I even got to catch up with friends!! Thank you Marla and Jason for always letting us make ourselves at home!!!

Colby refused to let me take this hat off of his head....even though it was about 60 degrees outside! What a little fashion diva!

I'm 27 and it snowed in Central Texas!!!

Last week was AWESOME!

Monday night: Celebrated my birthday with some of the most amazing friends EVER at Coronas in Belton.

Tuesday/Wednesday: temperatures dropped drastically during a rare Texas cold front. Colby was so intrigued by the fact that Buddy's water was solid!

Thursday: 2 hour delay of school meant that everyone in our house "slept in" until 7:30!!

Friday: I turned 27 and school was cancelled due to SNOW!!!!!!!!!!

He was SO EXCITED!

Set out bowls the night before to catch snow so that I could attempt to make snow ice cream!!! Basically after looking up some recipes online, I just added some sugar, milk and vanilla. I thought it was great....until the rest of the snow melted in the bowl and I realized how DIRTY it was!!!! (I kept reminding myself of the saying "God made dirt and dirt don't hurt!")

Celebrating BABIES!

2 of my dear friends have been pregnant for the past 9 months....I have a slight obsession with pregnant women, so of course I have loved seeing the precious bellies grow and grow. I never posted pictures from their showers, so I wanted to make sure I documented celebrating these two precious babies and their mommies before their big BIRTH days.
