On Friday, Colby got to come see "the boys and girls" at mommy's school....I tried to keep him entertained at the listening center, but of course, that didn't last too long....thank goodness I had 22 eager little helpers

Last weekend, we went to a fabulous tailgate party at Kevin and Katie's house....Colby and Rhett curled up on the couch to watch Thomas the Train :)

A few weeks ago, we got to go watch the Wildcats play....definitely brought back some of the best memories!!! We just LOVE those cats!!!

Great way to end this picture post....Kim and I rocked out on stage at the Accelerated Reader kick-off event a few weeks ago.....I rocked a little too hard...my neck was SO SORE for days. I guess I'm just too old to head bang like I used to....haha

Fall?? Is that you??

When I heard that the morning lows in Labor Day were going to be in the 60's and highs were only going to be in the 80's, I knew that Colby and I had to find something fun to do outside! Cameron Park Zoo was the perfect spot for a morning date with my Colbster! It was AMAZING weather and I'm so glad we got to go out and enjoy it.

going up the steps to the slide ALL BY HIMSELF! I sat in the cute little rocking chairs and watched him do this for 20 minutes. :) It was fabulous to not be in a rush.

These rhinos had the right idea....after a super fun morning, we were more than ready for a nap. :)

Doug and Elyse came in town last weekend! We love seeing them and hanging out with them!!! Friday night we were supposed to go to the Wildcat football game together, but Colby was a little under the weather and I ended up laying him down before 7:00. :(

Saturday night, we went out to Harry and Debbie's farm for round 2 of dove hunting. Colby was in heaven- rock throwing, playing with trucks, covering himself with dirt, riding 4-wheelers and the fam are some of his favorite things. He's so easy to entertain out there!

Opening Day

Thursday was September 1st, also known as "opening day" for dove hunting season!

Colby and I hung out with Jordan, Jayci, Jackson and Debbie while the guys hunted until sunset. Colby LOVED playing with his cousins Jayci and Jackson. Jayci is such a good helper and Jackson is super sweet to always include Colby.
