Reese's 3rd Birthday

Reese had the cutest "boo bash" I have ever seen. Colby dressed up in his "struction" worker costume which consisted of a $0.99 hard hat from Goodwill.

I think pumpkin painting was definitely one of his FAVORITE things.

Saturday morning pancakes

Last week in 2nd grade, we made pancakes to watch the chemical changes that happened when the liquid batter was heated and turned into a solid. (fun stuff!) Lucky for this little munchkin, I had leftover pancake mix and syrup, so Saturday morning, we whipped up a batch of delicious pancakes.

In the middle of our mixing, we got a call from Daddy!!! (He was just getting off of a 30 hour shift, and picking up chocolate milk for us on his way home. :))

This is one batter that Colby did NOT have to fight me for....ew...haha

Football Frenzy

Last weekend was dedicated to football!!

On Friday night we watched the Temple Wildcats beat the Belton Tigers...

Colby's favorite part was playing on the field AFTER the game. We're so glad Mimsy and Pops have season tickets. We love watching our Wildcats play!!

On Saturday, Travis and I got to go to the UT game in Austin!! Doug's sweet girlfriend, Elyse, called us on Thursday to see if we wanted tickets. She overnighted them to us, and I'm so glad she did- it was a great last minute date for the two of us. The longhorns didn't pull out a win, but we still had a blast. (The best part was that our seats were in the SHADE after the 1st quarter....I couldn't have asked for more)

We were a hot mess after walking a few miles to get to the stadium, but it was worth it. :)

8 1/2 weeks

On Tuesday, Travis and I got to see our teeny baby again! He/she was measuring about 8 weeks and 4 days which would put my due date around May 19thish. Dr. G. said that we could keep my original Due date of May 14th since it was within a week of the new due date- YAY! 5 less days of being 9 months pregnant?? YES- I'll take it! :)

Here's our little punkin! The sonogram machine lets you listen to the heartbeat (music to our ears), but doesn't measure how fast it is. Dr. G. said from her 30+ years of doing this, she thinks it's around 155 bpm...sounds good to me!!

OH- did I mention that one of Trav's med school friends was in there with us?? :) This pregnancy could get interesting...haha.

The next chapter for the Anthonys...

Since Dave and Kristin weren't going to be able to come to "Geekfest 2011", they invited us down to Austin to celebrate Trav's birthday the weekend before the party. It was a great evening to catch up and eat some yummy food as the sun set over Lake Travis. It was GORGEOUS (even though the poor lake was extremely low.) Travis and I hadn't been to the Oasis area in a really long time, and it is AMAZING to say the least. We ate at Soleil- a restaurant right next to Oasis, but in the same complex. We would definitely recommend it for a group dinner or date night.

These guys are seriously ridiculous when they get together...out of control!!
