This year we kicked off our Thanksgiving celebrations at my parents house for lunch on Wednesday. My cousin, Kelli, came in from Chicago, and we were so glad that she and Aunt Mary Jane came for Thanksgiving lunch with Gram. We had a great time catching up with them, and Kelli had a fun time playing trucks with Colby. (she is used to playing with little girls (notice the sparkly butterfly tattoo), so she had some learning to do)
After a yummy BBQ lunch from Clem's, it was finally time for dessert!!! Mom picked up some cupcakes and an apple pie from Megg's and they did not disappoint. (red velvet and vanilla cupcakes were my favorite!!)
Colby couldn't wait to dive in.
"EAT?"
Colby brought home one of these handprint turkeys from mother's day out, and my mom had the fabulous idea of making enough to use as napkin rings. SO CUTE!
We were missing little Doug and Julie, but I love this picture of Kelli, Colby and I with Gram.
After a huge lunch, it was definitely time to nap it off. Colby almost fell asleep on Pops!!
