At Kennedy-Powell, when a student (or teacher) has a birthday, their parents can donate a book to the library in their honor. They get a cute little birthday cake label inside with their name and birthday on it, and they get to be the first one to check it out! :)
Colby's sweet Mimsy bought a birthday book in honor of him this year called Hurry, Hurry! Over the weekend, she checked it out to read to him. It's so sweet and it is such a special gift that will be a part of the KP library forever and ever. (or maybe just until it's really old...I'm not too sure...)
