PARADISE! This vacation was exactly what we needed....a little break in one of the most beautiful places in the world. Trav had just taken his big test the day before, I'd had my last work day of the year, Dan was about to graduate from his residency, we are getting ready to celebrate our 5th wedding anniversary and the Stahls are about to celebrate the big 1-0! It was such a nice time to just kick back, relax, soak up some rays, drink and eat too much, stay up late and sleep in, meet new friends, and get to know old ones even better. I LOVED our time in the Dominican Republic. I definitely fell in love with this tiny little country and the sweet people who call it home. Can't wait to go back!!!!
After 3 hours of sleep, waking up at 3am, driving to Dallas, flying to South Carolina, and then a 3 1/2 hour plane ride over the ocean, we were FINALLY landing in the Dominican Republic!!! WHOOO HOOOOOO!!!!!

On our last night, Trav was pulled up on stage to compete in a girls vs. guys showdown. It was TOO FUNNY!!!
during the competition, all of the contestants had to go out in the crowd to get specific items from as many people as possible....I think this was the 3rd night on our trip that Travis ended up without a shirt...
